This set of alphabet cards has been designed as a practical reminder of positive self-talk involved in developing a growth mindset.  Often the upper years miss out on alphabet reminders, yet still often need them, so these cards have been designed with older students in mind.  They have been left white so students can be involved in colouring them to complete a collaborative classroom display.
 
These cards are based on the work of Dr. Carol Dweck who coined the terms 'fixed mindset' and 'growth mindset' to describe the underlying beliefs people have about learning and intelligence. They also include terms related to neuroplasticity, the science behind growth mindset.
